Pope Bisect two piece surfboard
Being a New York City longboarder is not an easy thing to do. I've found that the Pope Bisect travel board is a great help. It makes me a longboarder in the water and an unstressed rider on the train.
Fins
Rainbow cutaway fin
I use a nine inch cutaway for longboarding. The turning is loose and there's plenty of stability for walking.
Pope Hollowfoil fin
A rad design that comes with the bisect board. It's hollow and actually floats. The effect is that it lifts the tail and loosens it up. It's faster due to a theory of drag and foil shapes.
